Training providers must ensure their courses and facilities are accessible to people with disability. If you believe a training provider is not meeting this legal requirement, you can:

  1. raise your concerns with the training provider
  2. contact the Queensland Human Rights Commission.

Contact your training provider about reasonable adjustments for training, such as modified course materials or assessments, assistive technology, or flexible learning arrangements.

Specialised support services are also available through the Skills Disability Support program. Your training provider can apply for the program on your behalf.

Queensland students can access funding and financial help.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) also provides help to people with disability to do training and find a job.

Skilling Queenslanders for Work training projects help jobseekers gain skills, qualifications, experience and confidence for work. It's free to participate in this program.
