I feel that this program has deep meaning for me. It holds great significance in my life.
When you first arrive in Australia, it's a completely unfamiliar environment. You have no local work experience, but employers here seek local work experience. So it's a kind of vicious cycle.
But with this program, it provided a great buffer for me. It allowed me to quickly enter the workforce.
It also acted as a bridge for me, connecting an unfamiliar environment with a new one.
It made me feel that I was in a safe and supportive environment, where I could fully realise my potential. And settle down and enjoy life here.
As a newly arrived migrant, it gave me empowerment and strength.
It helped me move beyond a primitive stage, and begin adapting to a whole new society. This is incredibly useful for new migrants.
It provides a low-risk channel for businesses to discover new talent. And that talent often brings diverse backgrounds and international perspectives.
That's a huge benefit to companies. It's a very positive thing for them.
There are a few points I want to make about this program. As we come to the end, I really want to say a few things.
First of all, from my heart, I'm deeply grateful. I truly thank this program. It made a real change in my life. I also encourage all migrants, like me to be brave and take action. To prepare positively and act courageously.
And finally, to all the people involved in this program—I want to say a big thank you. Thank you for giving us new migrants a sense of belonging.
You've made us feel truly included. Thank you.
